Marlee Hodge Jenkins

Marlee Hodge Jenkins, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Springhill Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She was 68 years old.

Marlee enjoyed spending time and going out to eat with her friends, family, and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Marlee is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Raymond Jenkins, Sr.; her parents; and her sisters and brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Angel Young (Raymond), Wayne Jenkins, Jr. (Tabitha), and Naomi Peak (Mike); seventeen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Elsie Cox, Frank Weaver, Jewel Cordelle, Janet Eldridge, Susan Gardner, Lotti Sellers, and Arlie “P-Nut” Hodge; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 PM funeral service Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
