Martha "Pat" Lambert

July 3, 1936 — February 24, 2021

Martha Frances “Pat” Lambert born July 3rd 1936 in Townley, Al to Thomas Dewey and Sarah Lorraine Stocks, entered her eternal heavenly home on February 24th, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Dewey Stocks and Sarah Lorraine (Boshell) Stocks, sisters Barbara Faye Stocks and Mona Stocks, her brother Byron Stocks, and her beloved husband Heubert “Bo” Lambert.

Pat was known as a homemaker, who loved to create jellies pies, and breads, She also loved to bake cakes, and created beautiful memories for her children and grandchildren with beautiful cakes for their special occasions. She spent her lifetime creating memories for her family, and the Christmas holidays were her favorite time. Her home was always decorated all throughout and was filled with the love that only a Granny could fill it with. Pat also loved to create artwork that reminded her of her childhood memories. Most were done in what she called “pen and ink”. Most of these pieces have remained with her family, however, there are a very few close friends that she has gifted her artwork to.

She leaves behind three children, Rebecca and John Knight of Westmoreland, TN, Michael and Marsha Janik of Citronelle, Shannon and Robert Davidson of McIntosh, AL. Pat is cherished by a special lady that she treated as her other daughter, Debbie and Warren Orso, Orange Beach, Al. She leaves four grandchildren, Carrie Knight, TN, Trea and Amanda Knight, Westmoreland, TN. Sarah and Andrew Manske, McIntosh, Al., and Samantha Davidson, McIntosh, Al. She leaves five great grandchildren to cherish her memory, Alexis, Dominic, Rhianna, Autumn, and her precious sunshine Elijah. She also has a brother, Ronald Stocks, Reedley, CA.

Pat lived her later years with her daughter and family in McIntosh, and often traveled to her daughter’s home in TN. She cherished her family and continued to take care of them until her health failed. She died at home, with her family surrounding her.

The family will receive friends from 12pm until the 1pm funeral service on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Long, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.

Pall Bearers are Terry Huff, Glenn Hare, John L. Williams, Kyle Davidson, Shane Stringer, and James Carpenter.

Honorary pall bearers are Dr. Steven Donald, Lee Tindle, Raven White, Dr. Russell Hudgens and the staff of Southern Care Hospice.
