Mary's journey began on August 3, 1981, and throughout her life, she wore the title of a school teacher with pride and passion. Her dedication to shaping young minds resonated with all who had the privilege of being her students. Mary's love for teaching was unparalleled, and her impact on generations of children will be everlasting.
Her vibrant spirit extended beyond the classroom into her personal life. Mary found joy in simple pleasures - the colors yellow and purple held a special place in her heart, while the sight of hummingbirds brought her immense delight. Her hobbies were a reflection of the beauty she saw in the world around her.
Mary's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her family. She shared 16 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, James Cook. Together, they raised their daughter, Gracey Cook, whose light mirrored Mary's own. In addition to her immediate family, Mary is survived by her parents, Stan and Robin Wright; her sister, Mindy Wright; her adoring nieces and nephews, Alivia, Mia, Braxton, Mallory, and Macey; along with other relatives and friends whose lives she touched.
