Michael Leroy Chambliss

Michael Leroy Chambliss, 52, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Mike worked as a painter for 33 years. He loved fishing, hunting, home projects and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Marie Mizell, father, Kenneth Leroy Chambliss, sister, Amanda Marie Silvers, brothers, Kenneth Wayne Chambliss, Ronald Gaines Chambliss, grandchildren, Leah and Heath. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 28 years Kitty Chambliss; children, Michael Leroy Byrd, Jessica LeAnn Chambliss, Christopher Ryan Chambliss (Taylor), Amanda Danielle Chambliss, Belle Chambliss, and Erika Watts; grandchildren, Emma, Hayden, Hunter, Kaleighe, Trinity, Colt, Karsynn, Brantley, Blakeleigh, Nevaeh, Bubba and Madison; sister, Alice Glasscock; other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 5pm – 8pm at Freeman Funeral Home. Funeral will be held 11am, Friday, December 15, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev.
