Michael Luther "Mickey" Prastina

Michael Luther "Mickey" Prastina, age 67, a native of Wooster, Ohio and resident of Mount Vernon died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at a local healthcare facility. He was a jack of all trades. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilma and Norman Carpenter. He is survived by his wife Melissa Hearn Prastina; Two Daughters, Robin Prastina Bosarge and Misty Prastina (Charles) Black, all of Mount Vernon; Two Sisters, Voncille (J.O.) Hoffman and Vivian Goldman, both of Chatom; One Brother, Tracy L. (Tammy) Carpenter of Wilmer; Three Grandchildren, Shawn, Molly and Baw Baw's Angel, Marlee; And Numerous Relatives and Friends. A wake will be held from 6 PM to 9 PM Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. The Funeral Service will be held 11 AM on Friday, May 29, 2009 at Lockler Memorial Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon. Interment will be at Mount Vernon Community Cemetery.
