Mildred Marie Patrick, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, August 07, 2021. She was 79 years old. Mildred was born June 23, 1942. She was a member of Cross Point Baptist Church and was known throughout the community as “The Candy Lady” during Christmas time. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and devoted her life to taking care of them. She was very thoughtful and never missed sending birthday cards out to her family.
Mildred was preceded in death by her brother, Woody Knapp; and her mother, Juanita Everett.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 59 years, Donald Patrick; children, Regina Parmer (Harold) and Bubba Patrick (Angel); grandchildren, Candice, Tristan, Justin, and Emily; great grandchildren, Peter, Edison, Rosalie, Whyatt, Addy, and Tatum; siblings, Johnny Everett, Franklin Everett, Allan Everett, and Henrietta Evers; sisters-in-law, Lyndal Reid, Joann Maples, Lynda Patrick, and Janie Patrick; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Patrick and Tommy Patrick; and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Cross Point Baptist Church with Dr. Eddie Bates officiating.
