With a career that spanned various roles, Nan worked at Olin Chemical, the Mount Vernon Sawmill, and Springdale and Bel-Air Mall. She gracefully balanced her professional duties with her cherished role as a homemaker for her family. Her commitment to her family was a testament to her character—Nan was a military wife.

Nan pursued an education at Faulkner State Nursing School and continued her learning journey with courses at Bishop State. Her passion for learning was evident in her life; she loved to explore new interests and frequently shared her newfound knowledge with those around her.

She delighted in the company of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who meant everything to her. Her deep love for them was reflected in countless family gatherings and shared experiences.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Frank Loescher; her children, Tammy Williamson (David), Toni Fischer, Cissy Robina Turner, and Antoinette VanHook (Michael); her beloved grandchildren, Samuel Fischer, Kameron Turner (Tori), Ben Tre' Sizemore, Jonathan Williamson (Katie), Lason Fischer, Tyler Turner, Katie Williamson, Seth Sizemore, Keelyn Fischer, Mikayla VanHook (Sabrina), Lynn-Lee Williamson, and Caleb VanHook. She is also survived by her siblings, Dwight Young (Harlene), James Young (Trista), Sandra Parnell, Mark Young (Charlotte), and Marlin Young; her brothers-in-law, Ron Loescher and Edward Loescher; along with many other relatives and friends who held her close to their hearts.
