Oscar Hayes Weaver

Oscar Hayes Weaver, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. He was 71 years old. Hayes loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed his horses. Hayes was preceded in death by his parents, AB and Louise Weaver; and brothers, Griffin Weaver and Abraham “BB” Weaver, Jr. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 21 years, Catherine Weaver; daughter, Leann Weaver (Ray); stepchildren, Raymond Weaver, Kevin Weaver, Gladys Weaver; twelve grandchildren including his best friend, Nick; siblings, Daffy Weaver, Sr. and Lenore Rivers; sister-in-law, Florence Campbell; special nephews, Nathan, Curvin, and Josh; special niece, Ruddie; a host of other nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am Mass of the Resurrection Monday, March 15, 2021, at Saint Theresa Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan, the celebrant.
