Patrick Dylan Parten, also known as Dylan, passed away on May 27, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and love. Dylan was born on August 26, 1991, in Mobile, Alabama.
Dylan was a skilled craftsman who had an innate ability to restore things back to their original condition. He took great pride in his work and brought joy to those who he helped. His family and friends often called on him to help them with anything that needed fixing.
Dylan enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved going to the beach and making memories that would last a lifetime. He was also known for his love of hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
Dylan was an accomplished musician who excelled at playing the cello. His talent brought joy to those around him, and his passion for music inspired everyone who knew him.
Dylan's greatest achievements were his two beautiful children, whom he loved dearly. He always put his family first and made sure that they knew how much they meant to him. His dedication to his family was second to none.
Dylan is survived by his children, Payton Malachi and Hanna Mariah; his mother, Patricia W. Parten; brother, Johnny Parten Jr.; half brother, John Christopher Parten; half-sisters, Dianne Vera Marrow and Lisa Parten Patras; uncle, Donald Walker; aunts, Gail Walker, Kathy Walker Berlage and Willadean Goodman; niece, Kelsey Grace Parten.
Dylan's father Johnny G. Parten Sr., grandparents Charles and Bernice Walker preceded him in death.
Visitation for Dylan will be held at Freeman Funeral Home on June 3rd from 2-3 p.m., followed by a funeral service at the same location from 3-4 p.m.
While Dylan may no longer be with us, his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be missed dearly, but his legacy of love and excellence will never be forgotten.
