Randy Elmo Ledlow, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on March 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 21, 1955, Randy lived a life characterized by kindness, generosity, and an infectious love for adventure.
For the majority of his life, Randy dedicated himself to his career as an over-the-road truck driver. He was truly "Fueled by diesel, freedom, and a love for the open road," a sentiment echoed by those who knew him well. Whether navigating the highways or simply exploring the great outdoors, Randy's spirit was one of easy-going joy and camaraderie. He cherished the moments spent with his family, particularly while out on his pontoon boat or camping under the stars, creating lasting memories that his loved ones will hold dear.
Randy was known for his big heart and giving nature. He was a dependable friend, someone who could always be counted on in times of need. His gentle demeanor and approachable personality made him a pleasure to be around, earning him admiration from all who had the honor of knowing him.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Brrenda Ledlow, who stood by his side through every journey. He leaves behind his four children: Shelly Harden, Marty Ledlow (Jessica), Amanda Booth (Jamie), and Jeff Orso (Linda). Randy was also a proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to 16 great-grandchildren. His mother, Arlene Ledlow, along with many other relatives and friends, will also carry his memory forward.
Randy is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Ledlow, his daughter, Chasity Ledlow, and his sister, Melissa Thrasher.
As we remember Randy, let us celebrate his remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and the spirit of adventure. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and dedication that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be set at a later date.
