Rhonda Gay Sims

Rhonda Gay Sims, a resident of Wilmer, Alabama, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021. She was 52 years old. Rhonda loved her family and enjoyed watching and cheering for Alabama football. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rachel Scarbrough; father, Jackie Kelley; and brothers, Jackie Kelley, Jr. and Steven Kelley. Those left to cherish her memory include her longtime companion, Jackie Jones; daughters, Tammy Ikner (Jill), Daphne Houston (AJ), and Taylor Tomlinson (Matthew); sons, Donald Ikner, Terry Ikner, Jr. (Terra), and Randy Jones; seven grandchildren; siblings, Lavinia Kelley, Terry Dueitt, Timmy Dueitt, and Tina Lee; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until 11am Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow at Liberty Cemetery.
