Richey Aaron Presley

Richey Aaron Presley, born on May 28, 1982, in Haines City, Florida, passed away on January 30, 2026, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, sibling, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kind spirit and lively personality.

Richey dedicated much of his life to his career as a pipefitter, utilizing his skills and expertise while also passionately contributing to the community as a softball coach. His enthusiasm for sports extended beyond coaching; he was an avid fan of softball and football and cherished countless moments spent hunting and fishing.

Richey was known for his warmhearted nature, as he "never met a stranger." He had a unique ability to connect with people, making everyone feel welcome in his presence. His family meant everything to him, and he took immense pride in being a husband for 24 years to his devoted wife, April Presley. Together, they raised three loving children: Kaylee Dees (Waylon), Jasmine Presley, and Avery Presley. He was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Paisley Dees, Charles Waylon Jr., Courtney Dees, with another grandchild on the way.

In addition to his immediate family, Richey leaves behind his siblings: James Presley (London), John Lowe, Thetis Presley, Joe Presley, and Peggy Yancey. He cherished his deep bonds with his best friends, Victor Morrow and Chrissy Frye, as well as with many other relatives and friends who were fortunate to know him.

Richey is preceded in death by his father, Owen Presley, and his mother, Bettye Presley. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he impacted with his infectious smile and loving heart.

A visitation in honor of Richey will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Celebration of Life at Freeman Funeral Home.
