Riley Jessie Hayes

Riley Jessie Hayes, a resident of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away April 5, 2023. He was 43 years old. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter Ashton. Riley was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Riley is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Carol Abraham; father, Bruce Huckabee; grandmother, Jessie Mae Hayes; aunts, Inez May and Valorie Hayes; and uncles, R.J. Hayes and Carson Hayes.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 23 years, Tara Hayes; daughters, Ashton Logan and Destiny Patrick; son, Michael Patrick (Brittni); sister, Terri Hayes-Sullivan (Mitchell); brother, Ralph Abraham (Celina); uncles, Dean Hayes and Ralph Hayes; nieces, Ciarra, Shae, Valorie, Faith, Christian, Alexis, and Elizabeth; nephews, Timothy Jr., Ralph Jr., William, and Lucas; aunt, Angela Hayes; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the 2:00 PM funeral service Friday, April 14, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Rita Rivers officiating.
