Sharon H. Powell, born December 19, 1960, passed away peacefully at her home on March 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was a woman whose warm spirit and generosity left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sharon was truly one of the sweetest people you could meet—always putting others before herself, full of love, and carrying a laughter that brightened every room she entered.

Throughout her life, Sharon took immense joy in reading her Bible, listening to music, and staying connected with her friends through heartfelt conversations on the phone. She cherished being around her family and enjoyed cooking and spending time outdoors, finding beauty and peace in simple pleasures. Her proudest accomplishments were her family, which stood at the center of her heart and life.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Sammy Powell; her children, Christopher Hutchinson and his wife Haleigh, and Samantha Robinson and her husband Clay; and her beloved grandchildren, Julie, Sophie, John, and Emma-Leigh. Sharon also leaves behind her sisters Sarena Davis and her husband Ray, Karen Burge and her husband John, and her brother-in-law Walter Powell. She was also cared for and loved by many other relatives and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
