Sharon Ann Weaver, born on December 21, 1953, peacefully departed this life on January 30, 2026, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Sharon was a cherished presence in the lives of her family and friends, known for her vibrant spirit and love for life. She had a unique ability to brighten any room, and there was never a dull moment around her.
Sharon's greatest joy came from spending quality time with her loved ones, particularly her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her heart swelled with pride as she watched them grow and thrive, especially cherishing the moments spent with her granddaughter Chelsea and great-granddaughter Londyn. As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Sharon's legacy is reflected in the love that surrounds her family.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests that brought her immense pleasure. From shopping trips to exhilarating motorcycle rides with her husband, Ralph Weaver, to days spent at the Bay house fishing and taking care of her animals, Sharon embraced life with enthusiasm. She looked forward to hosting cookouts for her family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by all who knew her.
In addition to her beloved husband, Ralph, Sharon is survived by her children, Michael Johnston (Rachel), Gary Weaver (Debra), Katrina Weaver, and Antonio Weaver. She was a proud grandmother to Chelsea Johnston (Michael), Michael Johnston, Jr., Shaun Johnston, and Gary Weaver, Jr. (Candace), and a loving great-grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren. Sharon also leaves behind her sister, Sue Sullivan; a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as many other relatives and friends who will remember her fondly.
Sharon was predeceased by her father, Author Heathco; her mother, Virginia Hudson; and her brothers, Perry Heathco and Maurice Giles. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who embrace the joy and laughter she brought into their lives.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Bethel Lighthouse of Prayer Church from 12:00 PM until the 2:00 PM funeral service with Bro. Eddie Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
