Sterling Raymond Johnston

Mr. Sterling Raymond Johnston, 65, a native of Charity Chapel, Alabama and resident of McIntosh, Alabama died July 7, 2013 at a local hospital. He was a truck driver and affiliated with Happy Gospel Field Holiness Church. He is survived by his son, Steven (Amy) Johnston; daughter, Rita Diane Johnston Rivers; brothers, Jerry Johnston, Armond Johnston and Bobby Johnston; sisters, Nora Lofton, Louise Johnston, Judy Hobden, Doll Cooley, Terri Plaire and Lois Reid; three grandchildren, Donavon, Bethany and Landon; other relatives and friends. The Wake will be from 6-9 pm Wednesday, July, 10, 2013 at Freeman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 2 pm Thursday, July 11, 2013 from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Kendall Turner officiating. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, McIntosh, Alabama.
