Tammy Arlene Rivers

Tammy Arlene Rivers, 48, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017. Tammy was born February 29, 1968, to George and Alma Rivers in Mobile, Alabama. She was a homemaker her entire adult life. She loved to take care of her family. Tammy had an enjoyment for life and always had a smile on her face. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Alma Rivers; brother, Autry "BooBoo" Rivers; brother, Clifford Rivers; and sister, Pinkie Rivers. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert Byrd; children, Daniel Travis Rivers, Sable (Vince) Byrd, and Larry Wayne Rivers; seven grandchildren; siblings, Mack Rivers, Pearl Rivers, Frank Rivers, and Tommy Rivers; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday, March 02, 2017, at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan officiating.
