Tammy Reed Weaver, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on January 1, 2025. Born on July 29, 1964, Tammy was known for her vibrant personality and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She was often described as the life of the party always making others laugh and enjoying life to the fullest.
Tammy's passions included dining out and spending time at the beach, particularly at Gulf Shores, where she found happiness and relaxation. Her laughter was infectious, and she cherished her role as a best friend to her granddaughter, Alexia Weaver. The bonds she formed with her family were strong, and she took great pride in attending family gatherings filled with love and laughter.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Tommy Weaver; her daughters, Diana Weaver, Angela Reed, and Dywn Weaver; and her numerous grandchildren, including Pamila Reed, Tommy Rivers, Johnny Reed III, Alexia Weaver, Paris Harper (Triston), Ariel Weaver, Ariana Weaver, Alonzo, and Alec Weaver. Tammy is also survived by her twin brother, Timmy Reed; her sisters, Amanda Weaver, Dana Weaver, and Loretta Rivers (Rita Jean); and her brothers, Eric Reed and Tracey Reed. The extended Weaver family, part of her life for over 40 years, along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, will forever hold her memory dear.
Tammy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Tex and Eulean Reed; her brothers, Van Reed, James Reed, and Mark Reed; her sons-in-law, Johnny Reed, Jr. and Willard Rivers; and her cherished granddaughter, Angelica Weaver.
In honor of her memory, a visitation will be held at Reed's Chapel Baptist Church in McIntosh, Alabama, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM with Bro, Chad Orso officiating. Burial will follow in Reed's Chapel Cemetery.
Tammy's spirit and laughter will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
