Thomas Alan Herring

Thomas Alan Herring, known to many as Tommy Chayne, a lifetime resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021. He was 32 years old.

Tommy Chayne was signed by Average Joe’s Record Label, and an accomplished artist. Through this label, he achieved several milestones, including having over 1 million streams worldwide and meeting and recording duets with several other artists.

When Thomas was not recording music, he enjoyed being around his family and friends listening to music or watching Alabama football and having a good time.

Tom was loved throughout the community and surrounding areas, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Carl Elton Herring, Sr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Debbie Malone (Eric); brother, C.J. Herring (Meagan); sister, Kelsey Vrieze (Blake); nephew, Tripp; niece, Julia; uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

A wake will be held from 6pm until 9pm Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Memorial Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, March 26, 2021, at Memorial Baptist Church, with Rev.
