Vermell Rivers

Mrs. Vermell Rivers, 60, of Mt. Vernon, Alabama died June 1, 2013 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. She was a homemaker and member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, George Rivers, Jr.; children, Darla (Martin) Brewington, Rita (Jay) Brewer, Ashley (Kay) Davis, Walter (Kay) Davis and Annie Reed; brothers, Theodore (Dorothy) Weaver, Clyde (Carolyn) Weaver and Bruce Weaver; sisters, Ada (George) Byrd, Ola (Richard) Davis, Sheila (Stanley) Byrd, Melissa (Marvin) Johnston and Carol (Wayne) Evans; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the 12 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan as Celebrant. Interment will be in Byrd Cemetery.
