Viola Delphine Snow passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on July 29, 1944, she will be remembered as a woman who loved with her whole heart.
Family was at the center of Viola’s life, and she found great joy in spending time with those she loved. She was also known for her love of Alabama football, a passion that brought excitement and enjoyment through the years. Those who knew her will remember her warm heart and the deep love she gave so freely.
Viola is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dan White; children, Steve Snow (Nancy), Hattie Chapman (Darryl), Ronnie Snow (Amanda), Helen Spradley (Dwight), Terry Snow, Marty White (Amy), Sherry Strickland (Scott), Jarrett White (Cali), and Jamie White; grandchildren, Joseph Best (Jessica), Steve Snow, Jr. (Alicia), Brent Snow, Curtis Snow (Trish), Scooby Snow, Jonathan Sullivan (Jennifer), Kristie Snow (Jodi), Victoria Bindert (John), DB Durham (Whitney), Shawn Snow (Kayla), Collin Spradley (Amanda), Logan Spradley, Kelsey Durham (Cedrick), Bailey Hughes (Mikey), Stephen Stricklin (Paige), Ericka Dixon (Jesse), Jackson White, Grayson White, Alex White, Luke White, Ryan White, and Cameron White; 23 great grandchildren; siblings, Rachel Frazier (Darrell), Sebron Weaver (Elsie), Paulette Reed, Larry Weaver (Mary), Shirley Lofton (Adrian), Barry Weaver (Geraldine), and Mickey Weaver (Judy); special caregiver and friend, Pam Sullivan; a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard “Dick” Weaver, Jr.; her mother, Hattie B. Weaver; and her brothers, Kennon Weaver, Richard L. Weaver, Max Weaver, Douglas “Butch” Weaver, and Billy Wayne Weaver.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. Dunford Cole, Bro. George Weaver, and Bro. Paul McVay officiating. Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery.
Viola Snow will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
Although Viola loved all of her brothers and sisters, she shared a special bond with her brother Larry, Mary, Michelle, and Denice. Their love and devotion to her remained a treasured part of her life.
