Virgie Mae Rawls, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 02, 2020. She was 89 years old. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. Virgie was preceded in death by her husband, David Rawls, Sr.; and son in law, Ralph Howard. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Betty Allen (Bruce), Cathy Howard, Debra May (James), David Rawls, Jr. (Gail), and Tricia Mayberry (Peter); grandchildren, Stacey Kurpaska (Mark), Michael Kurpaska, Angela Howard (Tom), Christopher Howard (Christina), Jennifer Bishop, Michael David Rawls (Anna), Daniel Gallagher, Jr., Joshua Parker, and Elizabeth Parker; great grandchildren, Taylor Wrede, Lukas, Willa, Luella, Tyler Bishop; great great grandchildren, Gianna and Jayceon; siblings, S E Watts (Faye), John Watts (Betty), Jeanette Richardson (Joe), Etta Sue Sheffield (William), and Agnew Watts (Alicia); longtime friend, Mary Enzor; and other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held for Virgie Monday, October 05, 2020, at Mount Vernon Community Cemetery with Rev. Steve Norman officiating.
