Wanda Helen Byrd

Wanda Helen Byrd, 85, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Wanda was born May 23, 1932 to Cecil and Ruth Boothe. She was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she faithfully served in many ways. Wanda loved spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her husband, Elton Byrd, daughter Thelma Arns, and son Greg Byrd. Left to cherish her memory is her children, Clint Byrd and Cindy Toomey (Michael); grandchildren, Sherri, Darrick, Chad, Jordan, Ginger, DeRita, Kaylon, Andrea, Joshua, and Allyson; 20 great grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Carolyn Church (Herky); other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, November 24 from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service at Fellowship Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
