Wanda Kay Newburn

Wanda Kay Newburn, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021. She was 41 years old. Wanda fought a long hard battle with sickness, but never wanted to make you feel sorry for her. She was always willing to help whoever was in need. She was kind, selfless, and very sincere but could be sassy! Wanda was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Wanda was preceded in death by her two fathers, Jabo Newburn and Richard Blankinchip. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Faye Blankinchip; brother, Wesley Newburn (Donna); sister, Mary Nelson (Wayne); nieces and nephews, Mariah and Leanne Nelson, Westin Newburn, Jason Newburn, Arion and Devyn Weaver, Hailie Parramore; beloved pets, Daisy and Sookie; and numerous other family and friends.

A wake will be held for Wanda from 6pm until 9pm Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev.
