William Henry Reid

William Henry “Buddy” Reid, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019. He was 68 years old. Buddy was a long-time truck driver and in his spare time he loved to go fishing and spend time with his family, especially his boys. He loved to have cookouts and crawfish boils with his family and friends who will greatly miss him. Buddy is preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Reid; parents, Charlie and Dora Reid; and sister, Joyce McIlwain. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jimmy Ray Reid (Stacey), Devin Green (Sonya), and Andrew Dixon; four grandchildren; siblings, Lillie Nelson (Ray), Cissy Stanley, Buster Reid (Lisa), Eileen Stagner (Jerry), and Lynn Cole Anthony (Bryan); a host of nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Buddy from 6pm until 9pm Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Full Gospel Tabernacle Church with Rev.
