Zonnie H. Weaver

Zonnie H. Weaver, a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away at the age of 64 on May 30th, 2023. Zonnie was born on November 24th, 1958 to Wallace and Alice Weaver in Alabama. He spent many years working as a truck driver until his passing.

Zonnie was a compassionate and selfless man who always enjoyed helping others in any way he could. He had a kind heart and always put others before himself which left an impression on everyone who had the opportunity to meet him.

In his free time, Zonnie enjoyed playing chess and spending quality time with his family. He cherished every moment he spent with them even if it was just sitting and talking.

The services honoring Zonnie's life will be held at Mount Pleasant Church located at 1843 Topton Rd in McIntosh on June 5th, 2023 with Bro. Eric Reed officiating. The visitation will begin at 1 PM followed by the funeral service at 2 PM.

Zonnie is survived by his aunt, Nettie Lee Taylor; uncles, Mart Rivers, Marvin Rivers Jr., and Charles Rivers. Additionally, he will be lovingly remembered by his beloved nieces, Cynthia Merida and Maddison Weaver whom he loved both like a daughter. Along with Kristy Reed (Jason), Angel Weaver (Mike), and Alena Weaver his other nieces as well as nephews, Paul Shows (Bobbie Michelle), Zachary Shows, and Matthew Shows.

Zonnie is preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Alice Weaver; brothers, Ammon D. Weaver, Alvin Weaver, Mark Weaver; and sister, Carol Paul.
