Obituary

Clinton Allen Byrd, a lifelong resident of Fellowship, God's Country as he lovingly referred to it, left us for his heavenly home Wednesday, April 15, 2020.  He was 66 years old.  Clint was born October 05, 1953.  As a young husband and father Clint worked for the railroad for many years and later he and his family raised and raced champion quarter horses.  Clint loved to garden and was always eager to share his bountiful harvest.  Clint was a loving husband, father, son, brother, Paw Paw, cousin, uncle, and friend.  Clint was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Wanda Byrd; brother, Greg Byrd; sister, Thelma Arns; and step son, Lil Wayne.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sheila Byrd; children, Chad Byrd (Amanda), Jordan Byrd (Alisha), Tori Blankinchip (Kameron), and Sandra Orso; grandchildren, Cody, Preston, Bradie, Allie, J.R., Lane, Braxton, Alexis, and Kaisen; sister, Cindy Toomey (Michael); mother of his children, Diana Byrd; a host of nieces and nephews;  and other relatives and friends.  The family will receive friends in a drive-through visitation from 11am until 12pm Friday, April 17, 2020, in the parking lot of Freeman Funeral Home with Bro.
