About Freeman Funeral Home
To lovingly and carefully guide you through one of life's most difficult experiences, the death of a loved one. To help you adjust to your loss, and face with courage the changes necessary for you to return to a normal and meaningful life.
We respect all cultural and religious traditions, and will work closely with your family to meet your expectations and desires.
With the purchase of Higgins Mortuary in 1967, Freeman Funeral Home was established in Citronelle, Alabama, serving and taking care of families in Southwest Alabama.
In 1987, Freeman appointed Mark N. Craddock as manager and he and his wife, Regina M. Craddock, moved to Citronelle to care for families during the most difficult time of losing a loved one.
Mark N. Craddock along with Marlon Walley devoted their lives to managing Freeman Funeral Homes in Waynesboro and Citronelle, and in 2020 they purchased the funeral homes from the Freeman family. Mark and Marlon, along with the dedicated employees, continue to instill the Freeman traditions into the quality of funeral services today.
